So far I haven't seen much change in my horses, then again they've only been on it for a month. Maybe the scoop should be larger since a 1000lb horse needs 3 scoops a day - didn't realize this, doing the math it is a lot more expensive than similar products

I think this is an excellent mineral. I still have to add salt though. Could that be included? Also the big bags are cumbersome and the shipping box falls apart before they arrive. Maybe a feed bag would be better.

My horses didn’t like the powdered formula whatsoever. I don’t even consider them to be picky eaters. There were many times where I had to completely dump their feed and re-measure it without the powder so they would at least eat something (they’re on forage-based diets but do get a balancer with supplements). I switched to the Omneity pellets and they eat them right up! So if your horses are even the least bit picky, I’d save time and start with the pellets.

Love the concept but it is causing watery gas 🤨 I have been cautiously increasing the amount given daily and after 5 weeks have only been able to get half of the recommended amount fed

I’ve been using this on my four horses and two donkeys and they all look great. I’ve seen an improvement in their coats and hooves since starting it. It balances my hay well and fills in missing minerals. I started with a half dose and after a week switched to a full dose and my herd have all eaten it well.

My horses have been on this for a little over a month and I don't see any great changes, so it's hard to say how it's working, other than I get compliments on how soft my colts coat is, but I think that's circumstantial since he's getting worked and groomed a lot. He's on 2 scoops/day. My mare that's on 4 scoops/day, her coat isn't soft and she gets groomed a lot, but never has a thick winter coat,and we don't notice her hair any softer.
