I was looking for a cheaper option to the Heiro supplement for IR horses to save me money. The Magnesium Oxide is the cheaper option and has worked for me, so I dropped the Heiro.

Add the magnesium to everyone in my barns and program has been literally a game changer. Especially in my 2 yr old mare who had some mood swings so to speak. Within days she is back to being her happy self.

I've noticed that this product has helped take the edge off my horses nerves. My vet believes it helps with ulcers too. I combine it with alfalfa pellets. My mare has no problem eating it with it being mixed into her balancer feed and alfalfa pellets.
