Only gave 4 stars because I have a bit of trouble getting a reading. I have to use my thumb .Don???t know if it???s the item or if my circulation is really, really bad. Don???t have trouble getting readings when home health comes weekly on their reader.

I received the Pulse Oximeter last week. Easy to set up and use. Going to take it to my next MD appointment to check how accurate this device is when compared to the clinic's equipment. seems accurate to me but it will not hurt to check. UPDATE: Compared this device with the clinic's medical device readings at my annual wellness exam. Oxygen level: Clinic Oximeter: 96, Oxiline: 95; Pulse: Clinic d...

Well made, easy to use, and more accurate and repeatable than wrist type monitors.

I bought one. It was defective. They sent me another. It works and tracks my doctors reading perfectly.I did find you have to line up the cuff correctly and elevate your arm even with your heart for accurate readings. If you do that it is no problem. Otherwise, it is off by 10 on the systolic and 5 on the diastolic. It always gets the heartbeat correct. My arms are 17" in diameter and the...

The oximeter is quite easy to use and small enough to carry around. My readings initially varied as much as 5 to 6% in one sitting, but I have learned that it's a little fussy about getting your finger positioned just right: the finger needs to be all the way in, centered laterally, and not resting on a surface because that can lift the sensor slightly off the finger. Now that I have learned abo...

Other than that it is nice little BP indicator. Just be wary not to check yourself too often unless you have serious BP issues as you can affect your own BP by being overly self-conscious. If you are dieting and t...

The device was slow at times but always registered data. Readings were taken twice each time used and reported data that were very close for each reading. It is difficult to check its accuracy but it was close to the recent readings at my doctor's office.

Just compared this to another inexpensive finger oximeter I purchased a few months ago. Both take maybe 15 seconds for readout and this one provides about the same reading as the other; no more than 1 digit off (when one said 98% O2 saturation, the other might have said 97% or 99%). Close enough for my purposes. From a study I ready somewhere, these inexpensive finger pulse oximeters are generall...
