The app for the phone is free and easy to use, but not necessary for measuring except for pulse. The scale stores up to 40 measurements and uploads to the app. Overall, it's a great scale for the price and I highly recommend it.

I just downloaded an app that doesn't have any location restrictions. It's frustrating when you can't download a great product because you live in another country, but this app is easy to use. You can create a profile and track things easily.
