I don't like the old glass thermometers because they take too long to work and can break easily. I also didn't like the new battery-operated ones you have to put in your mouth. This new thermometer is great because I can even use it on my dog's belly. I'm not sure if it's accurate for dogs, but it might give me an idea. I like it because I don't have to put it in my mouth like other thermometers.
