I have to set the lancet very high to draw enough blood for the meter to read. I have wasted a few strips because I didn't draw enough blood and then the meter gives an error.

Got a glucose meter for my wife from a prescription, a Vario meter. Bought this Oxiline meter because the blood application and just the overall use were difficult for my wife with the Vario. This meter is much easier! Blood application doesn’t have to fill in a whole line and if your blood is thick or fast clotting this meter beats the Vario hands down.
