For over 20 years I've been testing. I have said every profanity known to man (or woman) when some of the sticks were harsh. In fact, I often skipped testing because I had reached my tolerance.Enter these needles in a cartridge. Amazing! The cussing is gone (unless my reading is too darn high). I have used these as well as the earlier model. This one works well and it seems to hurt less. Make its not as strong a force used to propel the lancet. I do find it a teensy bit awkward to press the button that activates it. Maybe it takes some practice. Overall though it works pretty well.
