I used to think black and white was cool, but I never really got it until I started using this preset. It just works and gives photos a real mood without me having to fight with sliders for an hour. They make everything feel more intentional, like something you’d actually want to print or hang. This preset basically made me fall in love with black-and-white photography.

I’m still pretty new to photography — I’m okay with framing and composition, but editing has always been the part I struggle with. This preset helped a ton. It instantly gave some of my shots the kind of vibe I was going for but couldn’t quite get on my own. Super easy to use and really took the pressure off trying to figure out Lightroom from scratch. Definitely made me feel more confident about ...

This works well on so many types of shots. This comes with both B&W and color presets, and gives shots a film-scan quality, but it does NOT hype up anything. Nothing too green or orange, nor too flat or crushed out contrast. Just smooth and organic. It's so easy to use. They use the built in Adobe Profiles, which is great for two reasons: one, they work for every camera, and work great on Lightroo...

This is one of my starting point edits for getting the look I love in so many settings. Just like the OG film stock, if I didn't know what I was going to need to shoot, I just loaded this in. This is my everyday look right here, and I can get it faster with this preset pack than anything else I have tried, with modifiers that really get the big tweaks out of the way quickly. Many of these K200 lo...

This one is sooo nice. I have been using this for when I really want something that vibes, and has an honest filmscan look. This does. I am a preset junkie, and have a lot of "vintage film-a-likes" that just end up looking like a messed up color grade. Too heavy handed. Too camera specific. This isn't that. They put some work in on this one. I really dig these, and there are both color and B&W co...

I picked these up after watching Dave Herring's YouTube interview with Jake Tovar. These are super-fun riffs on the Portra400 presets from VGP, but have a totally different vibe. There two versions of them here too with some great modifiers that work differently than others do. I had a lot of fun with these as out of the box they have that Jake Tovar look (as they should!) but my style isn't the s...

I love Portra, but hate Portra film emulations.... until this one. They are always too pink, or too saturated in weird colors, and I end up spending more time fixing them than I would have if I just did it myself every time. This pack nails all the subtleties, and isn't too magenta, or with those yucky greens I see on many film-a-likes. No presets are really one-click, but these are FAST to get to...

This was my first VGP preset purchase. I love the dreamy look it gives. I have since bought a couple of other presets and love how easy they are to integrate into Lightroom. And how quick the vgp team are to respond to any questions.

These are are awesome for starting a film like edit that is extremely natural looking, and very realistic. So many of these film emulations look overblown and Instagrammy. These behave more like film does, (they aren't just flat and matte, and they aren't just green-tint.) They use the built in Adobe Profiles, which is great for two reasons: one, they work for every camera, and work great on Lig...

These are really great as a general purpose, or starting point for making excellent edits with that Leica CCD color science (and black and white) There are two different sensors captured here, with color and B&W for both. So 4 great starting points. The differences are both sutbtle, yet different enough that one or the other gets you where you want to be. Modifiers are useful as well! All the ed...
