Hello! This is a very nice and clean plugin :) I would like the video to play unmute by default ( as of now it's automatically mute). The instruction does not give me the option of unmute by default like your tutorial does (see screenshot). Can you please help me out on this? I'm using 7.1. Thank you!

I was recommended to SQSPThemes for the Lightbox and found the instructions and options to change things around easy to follow once you understood what the options were. The setup of the Square Space page and formatting that to work well within the Desktop and Mobile version was trickier and I found some difficulty with spacing, which wasn't altogether SQSPThemes issue more likely just a SQS issue. However had great support from the support guys and they provided a small fix for my particular issue, which solved the problem I had. So happy to recommend and will be using the lightbox anything p...

While I appreciate that this plugin exists, I shouldn't have to buy it, install it and tweak the settings to get it working correctly. This basic functionality should be baked in with every single plan on Squarespace. Honestly, Squarespace should just acquire this company and integrate their stuff into their platform. It bugs me that such a basic feature as a lightbox / pop-up is not part of Squarespace.

I have very little to no coding experience, but this plugin was very easy to install. Just copy and paste. Still exploring all of the things I can lightbox and experimenting with more features, but this plugin did help with the initial task I was trying to work on.

This plugin has been great from the easy installation to professional and simple quality it brings to my site. However, I do have an issue in that when you open the lightbox on my homepage, the background video stops playing. This is particularly an issue when you close the lightbox and are met with a frozen background video - https://www.martinfalconer.com/ . This only started happening a year or two after installing the plugin, before that the background video would continue playing after closing the window. Is there anyway to get it back to when the background video wouldn't freeze?

I bought this plugin because the template that I was using on Squarespace didn't allow a Masonry style gallery on my Blog posts. The Plug-In allows the gallery to post in a more appealing way. It was fairly easy to use - the only issue I had was that the video tutorial is not accurate to where I needed to post the code on Squarespace. After some figuring out on my partner's part who is familiarising himself with coding we figured out how to apply it only to my portfolio and not my actual blog. Once we figured this out I was very happy with the result! It gives your galleries a great look and is easy to install, especially if you want it to be displayed over the entire website. Unfortunately I couldn't copy & paste the code needed to inject it, but I just copied it old style and that worked great too!

The plugin gave great results - but the instructions were a little bit different to how it actually was on the Squarespace side as of July 2025 - probably Squarespace changed a bit between writing the instructions and now. Don't let that put you off - it is super easy to figure it out. And extremely cheap for what it is. Thanks!
