Now that was just too easy. Client sent me an example from another website demonstrating the Lightbox. Few digs around Squarespace to realise it's not an inbuilt feature (unlike Wix where it is free). Quick google search, found this plugin, installed and working EXACTLY as described in under 5 minutes. Worth every cent.

Really pleased with the plug in, the look is very sharp, adds a lot to the site. I’m EXTRA happy with the detailed instructions for installment. Works exactly as described! Great feature to have as a plugin given standard templates dont allow for randomisation of image content. Highly recommend this plugin!
