This is the preset that introduced me to Dave and is very good presets. It’s great and if I’m not using one of his black and white emulations I’m definitely adding this to my images. It’s a great emulation and Dave puts in a lot of hard work to make these as close to the real film as possible. Love it!

By far my favorite black and white preset I’ve ever used! I’m color blind so I tend to steer more towards monochrome images most of the time. I’ve never shot trio x film but it’s an all time classic and this preset does a very good job of emulating it! Highly recommended!

Its free! so don't hesitate! just get it already!! :-) But... If there was one preset to just auto-put-on-everything-during-import, this is a good place to start. It's right down the middle, and gets all of your shots all pretty consistent to each other, ready for further editing, or great to share as-is. There's no modifiers or anything else included with this, but honestly you really dont need...

I gave this one 5 stars for being excellent. It isn't my go-to for most stuff, as there are other packs here that get me to *my* particular look much faster, but when I want punchy blues, and really mellow tans, this is a great place to start. Some folks chase after this look in particular, and if that's you, then this will likely fit the bill for ya! They use the built in Adobe Profiles, which i...

I have purchased "way more than my fair share" of presets over the years, and while some are better than others, every once in awhile, not often, you come across one that make you just go ..."wow" when you first use it. I found that with Monochrom L. Sure, you can tweak it a little here or there as you need to do with all presets, but easily 90% of the way there with the preset and I have used wit...

If you are looking and don't know where to start with Very Good Presets, start here. This one is just soooo gooood, and most importantly completely versatile. When you want "filmic" but don't want it to have such a "look" this is it. It takes what you shot, and tempers everything, giving it some vibe, and a *definite* film quality, but, but doesn't mess with your colors like many emulations do (s...

This is THE Tri-X emulation preset. I have sooo many of the ones out there, and this is now my go-to for starting an edit when I want the contrasty, punchy, Tri-X look. Period. You can almost smell the emulsion.... There's a 35 version and a 125 version that give you different looks, and for me the 120 version is my personal favorite, but for some shots the 35 just fits better. It's great to be s...
