I’ve often thought about attending a photography course but held back. After a few searches, I decided to go ahead and book the Get a Grip Photography Course. Rich is very knowledgable, enthusiastic & completely put me at ease. I now have the confidence to find out what my camera can do & not just rely on ‘Auto’. Would we, wouldn't we see a barn owl? We didn't but that didn't dampen the anticipation! It was a beautiful evening and along with the little owls, we did see curlews and lapwing plus a superb 'moonrise'. It was good to learn something about where to look out for different owls and how to position ourselves so as not to disturb their hunting. Better luck with the barn owls another time!

I just wanted to say thank you for a brilliant Photoshop workshop, really informative and I learnt absolutely masses of things that I had no idea about or how to attempt. The evening just flew by and was really good fun.

This was a really enjoyable photo walk in the fantastic setting of Bluebell Woods in Ilkley. Rich is very easy going and approachable, giving very helpful tips and techniques to help you think about composition of photos, angles, colour and light. Great way to spend a couple of hours or so, capturing some lovely photos, and meeting some friendly, interesting people. Highly recommended.

He took care to establish the level of knowledge and experience of people in the group and then provided lots of advice about shooting in the low light and weather conditions.
