Spent the day with Rich at Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve. His relaxed nature and approach to the day put the group at ease straight from the start. His exceptional knowledge of the wildlife and great advice to help our photography meant all the group came away with some fantastic images that I am sure we wouldn’t have without his help. I WILL certainly be booking up again, thanks Rich.

Rich tailored the session to what I thought I needed and covered so much more. We started by reviewing my 2021 album to explore ways of improving composition. Rich also picked up that a few of the disappointing photos were spoilt by camera shake which led into getting more from the camera in manual “shutter priority”. I learned so much more about using the camera in manual to get better pictures. ...

I totally enjoyed my photography walk with Richard. He encouraged me to change to manual and explained so well the settings for different light. He certainly made me think about composure too. I was really pleased with the results. I would definitely like to join him again.

We had a smashing evening looking for kingfishers along the river Wharfe. Rich has a friendly, welcoming manner and put us all at ease from the start, and his passion for and knowledge of the wildlife really came across. Excellent warm evening only spoiled by the myriad of flying ants! Rich is very knowledgeable about nature and directs you to the best shots. He also makes you think about your composition before taking a photo. Was pleased with my photo of a grouse amongst the heather which Rich spotted and directed me to the best angle to take the shot.

Great walk, managed to see 3 Kingfishers. Rich is a very experienced and knowledgeable nature walk leader. Highly recommend.

I had an extremely useful half day lesson. This was a gift and I was uncertain as to what to expect. It was brilliant, so informative and practical. Just needs me to put into practice now! Will be attending more in the future to continue this journey.

Had a great afternoon, really got to understand my camera. Rich was really knowledgeable and welcoming. Took my 14 year old son to the session and he loved it. Can’t wait to get started on our planned days out and holidays. Thank you
