A fabulous day - very informative and tailored to needs. Plenty of practical sessions to support the theory, in manageable chunks! I thoroughly enjoyed the day - a great setting and a relaxed atmosphere made for great learning. Thank you!

As always, Rich provided a very informative evening, describing when/where and how one might see otters. Limiting the size of the group allowed for all of us to be involved, ask questions and learn as we walked.

Great Course in a stunning location. Not only did Rich give some great tips on how to photograph the birds and landscape. Also learnt quite a lot about the different birds species too. Loved it would highly recommend.

This is the second walk I have done with Richard, this time I took my daughter along for the Owl walk and talk. We thoroughly enjoyed and the talk before our walk was really interesting and fun. The walk itself was beautiful and we saw little owls, a tawny owl, kestrel and curlew. Richard is so knowledgeable filling us with inspiration and camera knowhow. Can't wait to do another walk soon. Fabulous Private Lesson with Rich, so informative, & to watch the sunset over the Apostle Stones was nearly as magical as spotting Short Eared Owls. An amazing and so informative lesson, many thanks Fiona

Had an hour taster session at the burley in Wharfedale studio. Richard was great, he asked what I was hoping to get out from the session and he definitely got me walking out with positive thoughts and me eager to get snapping. Richard is really calm and friendly and he can make a great coffee too.

My daughter and I enjoyed a brilliant evening with Richard doing the Malham Golden Hour walk. We saw Peregrine Falcons and Redstarts and Richard was brilliantly knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

I have just had my first half day lesson with Rich and it was an absolute pleasure. He manages to explain complicated techniques and demonstrates them in a way that is easy to understand and follow. I can not recommend him enough to anybody, I’m so looking forward to my next lessons and gaining as much information and help from him as possible which Rich manages to deliver in astounding clarity an...

I thoroughly enjoyed the Butterflies - Shoot Edit Print workshop last weekend. Rich's knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area is excellent. The workshop was well paced to suit everyone in our group of 4. Rich gave us some great tips for not only photographing small creatures but also editing. I came away with a print that I'm very proud of. All in all , a day very well spent. Thank you, Rich.
