A really sound course led by Rich who was both informative and patient. The pace was matched to the needs of the group and individual attention given when needed. Very positive approach which gave me the confidence to understand the workings and settings on my camera. A good balance of instruction and hands on activities. Highly recommended .

Treated myself to a couple of mini lessons (1.5hrs each), and enjoyed every minute. We started with half an hours theory , then went down to the river in Ilkley to photograph the wildlife. Having spent years wanting things to keep still , I began to enjoy photographing birds in flight, and ducks arguing over food in the water! I thoroughly enjoyed the morning photography session despite the wet weather at the end! The group was very friendly and Rich was very helpful with his photography tips. I managed to take a few photographs that I am really pleased with and gained some good tips to take away with me.

Had a fantastic time with Rich , learning new ideas and techniques for landscapes in a beautiful part of the world. Rich is very knowledgeable and his passion for photography is contagious, highly recommend his walks to anyone interested in taking photos. I’m looking forward to the next already . Simply brilliant

Had a brilliant session with Rich at Harewood. It started with an amazing fly past of about dozen Red Kites followed shortly after by a herd of deer jumping across the pathway ahead of us. I recently attended Rich's workshop which covered night time photography, and what better place to hold the workshop than in York? The workshop was very useful with as much help and tuition as each of us required and we received an email afterwards with notes to remind us of the points we'd covered. All in all it was a great evening and a pleasure to spend it with other like-minded people.

Rich is a fantastic teacher, and also a lot of fun. The woods were spectacular, and I feel that I've come away with new skills and ready to get out there and take more photos!

Really enjoyable night photography course (the one I did was in York). Rich was very patient and happy to share his experience with a relative novice. Got a couple of great shots too!

The weather did not dampen a great night. Expert tuition pitched at the right level. I have recently taken up photography and learnt a lot. Would recommend to anyone thinking about improving there skills.
