Really enjoyed the 'Get a grip' camera course. There was a lot to take in but Rich explained it all in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere with plenty of practical hands on examples. Would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting to expand their skills beyond using 'auto' all the time.

This course was exactly what I needed . Systematically learnt what all those letters meant on the dial on the camera, and enjoyed trying to put into practice on the walks. The class was small, and I did not feel inhibited asking questions . I have been out this morning practicing new techniques . This is important because I think if I don't put things into practice straight away I am in danger of ...

Had a great day walking the Ilkley and Burley Moors and learnt a lot of new photographic techniques from the course which we were able to practise along the way after listening to the clearly presented tutorials. Plus it was very interesting learning the history of the area. I highly recommend this to keen photographers

Had a great day walking the Ilkley and Burley Moors and learnt a lot of new photographic techniques from the course which we were able to practise along the way after listening to the clearly presented tutorials. Plus it was very interesting learning the history of the area. I highly recommend this to keen photographers

i was fortunate enough to attend Rich's 'After Dark Night Photo Walk in Leeds, 14th October 2018. This was my third such photo walk. Rich is very knowledgeable and eager to impart that knowledge to others. He does so in a very informal manner but his walks do have a structure to them. The PDF notes he sends are a a valuable resource for future photo opportunities.

Had a great time on the bluebell walk. Rich is very easy to understand when explaining photography information which is vital for a novice. Looking forwards to my next workshop in July.

A great morning spent learning how to use my camera properly! I now have the confidence to take my Canon of Automatic. Rich was informative, patient and great company on our walk to put what I had learnt into practice.
