My first time on one of these walks . . . and, although very wet, it proved to be a grand experience. Rich knows how to encourage and pass on knowledge to every member of the group. He gives confidence and has the expectation that anyone can get some quality images. Thanks for a grand night and I hope to be with you again in the future.

Another excellent session with Rich, the "Walking Photographer". It's only when one gets home and looks at the images captured that one really appreciates how his critical eye and relaxed style guides improvement. Rich's walking sessions cannot be recommended highly enough.

Very informative, and enjoyable day. Basics covered in the classroom, but soon on to practical exercises both inside, and out. Good opportunities to have your results reviewed on the spot. Great way of learning, and quickly. Rich is a nice easy going guy. There is no pressure, but he offers valuable practical help. Recommended.

I had an excellent day yesterday on the Get a Grip course. It was just what I had hoped for, informative, fun, and I was left feeling more confident about using my new camera and getting the most out of it. Rich is excellent at explaining things at a level a complete novice like myself can follow and understand. I will be booking onto one of the walks in the autumn!!!

Rich was my wedding photographer and we were so happy with him that this father’s day I decided to buy my Dad a gift voucher for a private half day lesson. I joined my Dad last week on the lesson. Rich took us on a lovely walk around the river bank in Ilkley. My Dad was really pleased with the present and picked up load of useful tips and now has a much better understanding of his camera. Rich comes across as a very likeable chap. He's very knowledgeable and appears to delight in passing on that knowledge to others. He' seems to be level headed, not pompous, just the lad from next door.. He has oodles of patience and is full of encouragement too.

Really great morning with Rich at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. As a keen amateur for many years Rich showed me better ways to approach a photographic session and set up my camera in order to achieve the best results.

I was bought a camera for Christmas, but a short break in York left me deflated as I could not use my camera to anywhere near it's full potential, a full day of private tuition with Rich later and I can now take some amazing photographs. I have to admit it was daunting being an absolute beginner, knowing very little about photography and being female but Rich made learning easy. He was relaxed and...
