Excellent day out with Rich, Jackie and Jim observing and photographing red squirrels in the Dales. As always, great photography tips from Rich which ensured everybody went home with pictures to be proud of. It was such a magical place and the squirrels were so enchanting, it was hard to tear ourselves away at the end of the day.

Spent an amazing afternoon last Friday with Rich and two other clients in Wensleydale photographing red squirrels. Rich is a very friendly, first class, photographic guide giving helpful tips and advice throughout the session as needed. Truly amazing afternoon. Highly recommended.

Rich gave our family a fantastic experience. Calm, experienced and expert teacher taking us to the best spots. Combining photographic techniques and wildlife behaviour tips enabled us to make the most of our time. Great pictures and wealth of knowledge imparted. Many thanks for a super day.

What a brilliant session we had in York ! Rich was so patient, explaining settings , composition and offering his expertise on any problem ..no matter how small. The Walk was well planned to ensure we didn’t miss the main “ sights”, Rich gave advice as to how to achieve the best shot, and we had chance to experiment at the scenes. I certainly recommend taking a walk with Rich ..Walking Photography...

Thanks, Rich. Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the workshop. I’ve always felt a bit overwhelmed when thinking about changing the settings on my camera before but I don’t feel like that now. Looking forward to putting it into practice and I’ll keep an eye out for future workshops.

Well what a great evening and a great guide! Rich helped each of us all the time, not just pointing us towards a photo shot but actually altering settings on the cameras for us ( well me especially as I’m fairly new to photography and certainly the camera). What a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyable. I like taking photos but have always had my camera/phone set on auto mode. Well, I’m pleased to say that will now be a thing of the past. The course was well paced. It covered the basics, eg , lighting, aperture, shutter speed and photo composition. All explained in simple terms. Plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
