First off, this sink is beautiful. We purchased the darker version and we were a little worried that it might be a little too dark, but it is PERFECT! It is a nice heavy gauge, beautifully hand-hammered copper sink. It has a warm and elegant yet classic look to it. It really is a focal point to our kitchen. I looked at the reviews for farmhouse sinks and surprisingly there aren't a whole lot of options. The most ubiquitous was the Home Depot one of course. It was cheaper by about $250, but wait. When you factor in the free shipping and the awesome sink bottom grid which is very sturdy, and was there tax? I don't recall but I do know the sink came out to be about the same price as the cheaper models, ...
