I’ve finally had the chance to use this slow force rod not as jigging but flylining live sardines on the Polaris Supreme out of San Diego. I paired this rod with a Daiwa Saltiga star drag 30HA reel. 50lb braid backing direct to 30lb 5’ flouro leader. I had 100% success pulling 5/5 BFT, west coast Yellowtail and YFT up to 40lbs.
