I worked quite hard and the spots on my windows are still there. Will try a buffer when I have time.

Basically like magic. I am not one given to hyperbole. 30 yr old house, single parent last 26 yrs, cannot remember last time outside of windows were cleaned. Had small "fingers" at bottom of all windows. Tried all online recipes, vinegar, baking soda, dawn. Glas Weld removed it like a hot knife thru butter.
