Two excellent links courses, good enough to host the Open, both a real challenge with wind.

Play here regularly, always in great condition, best course in the county, great views, friendly staff, there's a reason it's a qualifying course for the Open.

If there are 2 better inland courses in Scotland, someone will need to tell me where they are. Both the Rosemont and Landsdowne were stunning .Played the 36 hole event at the start of May, hope my handicap holds up until next year it will definitely be on my priority list.

Played here recently three times. Course in lovely condition with work done on bunkers pleasing on the eye. Greens are superb. Well worth signing up to one of their opens. Used to be over 'formal' but more relaxed now at least in some parts of clubhouse. Very good practice range.

Excellent golf course with mature trees and large greens with many slopes and borrows. Fair but some of the Par 4,s play long. Food choice good and very tasty. Staff and members very friendly and the whole day was enjoyable from start to finish.

For an event as built up as the Henriques Trophy was, the event was awful in every way. The 36 hole event was organized as a shotgun start which was already disanointing and un official. The practice facilities weren't great at all, the driving range was too small (not fitting every one on) and the range wasn't long enough for anyone to warm up with their long irons or driver, the practice nets ...

A challenging and varied links course set in beautiful surroundings. County card rates are very reasonable for what is one of my favourite golf clubs in the UK.

S&A is an absolute delight - right up there with the best Links courses the UK has to offer. From the moment you arrive, seeing the "2 time Ryder Cup venue" sign in the Car Park and then the short walk up to the clubhouse which looks out over the magnificent Par 3 1st, you know you are somewhere special. This is a course which is very playable by all, whilst presenting a super challenge for the ...
