Hi John, First off, I'm really sorry that you have had a less-than-positive experience with your purchase. When you emailed on the 26th saying that you were having an issue assembling the ceiling canopy, I replied with a photo showing you how to assemble it along with a video of your light during the testing phase for your reference. I also noted that I was about to email your installation documents which were sent separately that day. You mentioned that you didn't know where to apply the mains voltage and were looking for guidance. This prompted me to assume that you were trying to install the fitting yourself, which is not something that we recommend unless you are a licensed electrician. Upon sending the instructions, you replied "ok I figured it out, thx so much!!", so I thought from that point that everything was ok. Following that email, I replied stating that 'a licensed electrician should really do the install as incorrect wiring / wrong polarity, etc can cause failure and blow components so please make sure it’s wired correctly!' This is my duty as the manufacturer as we have had customers try to install lights and blow drivers and LED strip in the past. Naturally, we want to do whatever we can to make sure that care is taken with our products. Apologies for assuming that you were installing on your own. Regarding refusing to provide a schematic - I can't see anywhere in our email trail where I refused to assist, and I'm truly sorry that you feel that this is how the conversation went and it's certainly not how we operate or want to be seen as operating that way. I presumed that after you had thanked me for sending the documents, everything was ok. On page one of the document we sent, there is a dimensional drawing that notes the side the mains voltage is to be applied. On page 3 of the document, there is a 3D drawing that shows which side the supply power enters the fitting. On page 4 of the document, there is a wiring schematic that states the path of power, from supply power, through the driver, exiting to the RF receiver and the LED strip. This document is also available to download via the product page on the website. We also provided the spec sheets for the drivers which show the side where mains power is applied and the side the low voltage exits. This information is also provided on top of the driver which is built into the top of your light. These are all pieces of information that any electrician should be able to understand. Having said that, we like to take all feedback on board and will do what we can to make installation easier. I'm sorry that this scenario prompted you to give us a low star rating.
