This product has a lot of great ingredients. But none of my horses will eat it after a couple of weeks of trying. I would recommend asking for a sample before purchasing.

Unfortunately, neither of my horses would eat this supplement. I have one picky eater, however, my other one who will eat anything refused his grain with only a few pellets of this supplement added.

While I love the concept of this product and the ingredients, my lamanitic horse will not eat it on its own, mixed with hay pellets or even mixed with unsweetened apple sauce. If you have a picky eater and can't feed a ton of sweet feed to really mask it, I'm not sure how you can get them to eat this.

Packaging horrible. Tabs on top broke and 1/2 amount of brand new oil dumped and all over my tack locker. Very disappointed and will likely not purchase product again due to this. Lots of spills and very messy with lots of waste!

My horse will not eat it in any portion. I have tried starting with tiny amounts mixed with feed and my horse will not touch it. No matter what I mix in the mare will not eat the pellets.

It has been 3 weeks and still has not received my order. Unreliable and prolonged delivery times make me hesitant to continue purchasing from MadBarn. My initial purchase from MadBarn was delayed as well.

My horse will not eat this . . .period, even when I mix a few pellets with soaked alfalfa. I love the ingredients in the AminoTrace and wish it worked.

I am sure, based on the product ingredient listing that it is quite good. However, my horse totally rejected it even when only adding 8-15 pellets to his twice ration of Timothy Balance cubes, min/vits, etc over a 2 week period. MadBarn came good for the product anyway. I therefore passed the remaining MagneChrome to a neighboring friend who also uses MadBarn products, and since the product had recently been recommended to her for her IR horse. No luck there either. After several days of trying low dosages, her horse still refused it. It's good to see the reviews and that it does work for some. It seems a waste to throw out a 5 kg container of the product, so I'm passing it along to my Vet in case she knows of someone who may like to try it for their horse. So then how do I rate it? The...

My horse won’t touch it. I tried mixing molasses into it and disguising it by mixing it into other things that he likes but one sniff and he won’t go near it.

My young Lusitano mare has EMS/IR and is chronically laminitic. Have tried everything and had high hopes with this supplement, but she won’t touch this with a ten foot pole. When I open the container she hides in the far corner of her stall... I have used every trick in the book to try to get it her eat it but -not a chance... so disappointed.
