Definitely filled a deficit in the mineral balance of our horses whose hay is primarily western alfalfa.

Mainly leaving this review to 1. Share how great customer service was with determining my horse's needs for intake quantity. 2. Share how well my horse is eating this. He had previously declined to eat many powders (Vermont blend, platinum CJ, omega E) so I was on a hunt to find something pelleted. I bought the small tub first to make sure he would eat it. He did! So I bought the big bag and can't wait to see how the switch to better nutrition affects his feet and overall health in the coming year. Great company, great products. And, I'm a veterinarian and love to have this info in my back pocket to share with clients.

Product arrived promptly, ordering was easy. Love that it is concentrated and only need a small amount, great for fussy feeders.

I'm pleased once again with the Mad Barn products.

Mad barn has really helped turn my mares health around. She came to me very over weight (80-100lbs) and showing evidence of becoming insulin resistant. Not only has her overall health gotten better but her mood has done a 360 as well. She is such a calm and sweet mare now. Being pink skinned she also had very sensitive skin and was constantly rubbing herself raw. Especially around her eyes. She isn’t nearly as itchy as she was before and her mane and tail are soo think and Lucious. The picture attached is 6 months apart. Top when I first got her and the bottom is her now.
