This course is so incredibly helpful! I never realized how much information I was missing in regards to needed nutrients and how to fix what's missing and what isn't. I've always felt like I was ping ponging between the horses being too fat, and losing too much. Now that I have mostly seniors (one 30yr old and two 23yr olds, plus a 3yr old mini donkey), two of which have no teeth, the information in this course has made me feel more confident in how and what I'm feeding to make sure they continue to live long healthy lives! I was definitely on the right track to begin with, but learned what was needed to fill the gaps! There wasn't a single module that I didn't learn something new, thank you so much for not only providing it, but doing it for free!

I have recently decided to put my ‘studdy’ gelding on Chasteberry. I was hoping it might help him a bit behaviorally. He’s nearing the end of his 100 day supply bag. I have more on autoship. The difference since starting him on the Chasteberry is drastic. I wasn’t expecting this large of an improvement that he’s had. He’s not nearly as explosive and has a much easier time focusing. He seems more consistently like himself and content, versus getting overwhelmed, exploding into rears and galloping around all crazy like. Some of his behaviors were very stallion like, but many of them were also a result of a poor past and horrible mistreatment before coming home to me. The fact that a lot of his behavior was related to trauma, I was really unsure if the Chasteberry would do a thing. H...

Submitting the hay sample was easy and the results were returned promptly. I appreciated the nutritionists review and commentary as well as her willingness to work with me to further understand the results and how the forage affected my EMS mare. We can rest easy that we are feeding a good quality forage within safe guidelines and supplementing with the best products for optimal health. Thank you Mad Barn for always being available to answer questions and give solid recommendations.

I really appreciate the speed the order is filled. My horse like the taste and I love the way it smells, like burnt sugar cookies!

Happy new year to you all. And all the best for 2025. Linaya, was very helpful in figuring out what feed and minerals I should be giving to my 5 1/2 year old Icelandic. She was very prompt in getting back to me and I will be back in touch with her again in a few months to alter my horse’s diet, again. It is always a pleasure to talk, text or email you all at MadBarn. Thank you. Debby

I started using this product this summer with my 19 yr old PSSM1 mare. She has always exhibited resp. stress (heavy breathing out of proportion to the level of exercise) when trail riding up hills or perhaps an easy canter in the arena. That has absolutely corrected itself with the use of AlCar. She now can be exercised and ridden like a normal horse. What a joy! Thank you to Dr. Kellon for the suggestion.
