I have no other oil to compare it too as it's been years since I fed an oil. I chose this one because of the DHA and palatability. My horse is crazy picky and loves the taste. I've also tasted it and it smells and tastes like light popcorn butter oil.

My horses love the pellets. I started with the powder and they weren't very happy with that. But the pellets seem to be more their taste. They've been on it for 2-3 months, and I've heard it takes longer to see results. So far, their coats are soft and shiny, and their overall demeanor is calm; though I cannot say for sure if it's just the nicer weather and shedding season taking effect or the Omneity.

Was hoping it would work for free fecal water syndrome and it has. Plus I have an incredibly picky eater and started slowly but have had no issues. He seems to like it!
