After trying two different antihistamines for my pony’s skin allergies I talked to one of Mad Barn’s nutrition experts and they recommend I start him on Spirulina and w-3 oil. The difference between these photos is 2 months. The antihistamines I got from the vet made my pony jumpy and irritable and didn’t stop him from itching the hair off of his face. I started noticing a difference after starting him on Spirulina within one month. His skin is completely back to normal, he itches less, and is his normal self again. 10/10 recommend!

My suspected EMS mare had been on Omneity and when I switched her to AminoTrace+ I saw a difference in a month or two. Her tail is normally lighter and very frizzy/broken at the top even though she never rubs it. The same thing happens with her coat - even though it's shiny she sunbleaches easily and if you look closely you can see broken hairs (she's a chestnut). Not anymore on Amino Trace. I am used to supplements not doing what they claim to do and honestly did not really have high hopes. But it's clear the AT+ is what she needed!

My horse developed Vitiligo around his eyes and muzzle, in just a few short weeks on this supplement there is only one small spot remaining. He also has poor hoof quality so I will be interested to see if that is helped at all.

My horse had [redacted]. We treated with [redacted] for 2 months and the [redacted] went away, but the weird thing is he was still girthy and hated being groomed, would switch his tail and kick out. 1 month on visceral and [redacted], he will stand still for grooming and is no longer girthy. I’m beyond impressed by this supplement. Only down side is that it took him a while to be okay eating it and I had to introduce it extremely slowly. He will be on this supplement for life now! *** Parts of this review have been redacted to comply with Health Canada Regulations ***

I cannot say enough good things about w3. I already enjoyed a variety of Madbarn's products before I started using this, but wanted a better omega 3/6 fatty acid supplement with vitamin E in it. W3 is highly palatable and easy to top-dress over feed- my horse loves this stuff! I have an older mare who doesn't struggle too much with losing weight, but feeding this along with an appropriate ration balancer/triple crown senior has kept my horse in fantastic condition, especially since she's been out of consistent work for a bit. Oil can be messy, but this stuff makes it absolutely worth it (and this stuff smells pretty good too! Kind of like kettle corn?). This is by far one of the best omega fatty supplements on the market and a worthwhile investment for anyone's feeding regimen.

I’ve read other reviews that say some horses don’t like the taste of Jiaogulan. I mix it with water & pour it over pellets & my picky eater gobbles it all down!

I had been struggling to find something like this for my OTTB. He had some gut issues that never really seemed to go away until we found this. The overall difference I saw in him within a short period of time was amazing. He’s a hard keeper and over the last few weeks I’ve noticed a change in his overall looks and weight gain. He’s now been on this for 6 months and he will stay on it for good.

I'm so very impressed with Mad Barn care and customer service! Shipping is fast and notifications are great. My mare has been on Visceral + and W-3 Oil for several months and I recently added the Probiotic and Spirulina. She has endotheliitis which is an immune mediated disease so I'm mostly concerned with reducing stress and supporting her immune system. She eats the Spirulina with no hesitation, green lips and all but man it's the messiest stuff ever! In an effort to cause the least trouble for my barn owner I feed the W-3 oil, Probiotic & Spirulina myself in a lunch feed & end up wearing some green everyday when Hollywood says thanks for lunch mom! I have come up with a different container & also keep the scoop separate to contain the mess plus the W-3 oil stops it from drifting into ev...

I struggled for months trying to get weight on my mini mare after she had ulcers. Even with lots of hay and feed nothing was making a difference. She had been on camelina oil for several months, but it wasn't making a difference. I already used other madbarn products, so I decided to give the w-3 oil a try. I started noticing a few things in the first month she seemed more happier to eat, and looked like she was so 'sunken' around the hips. But with it being winter and having a wooly miniature it's so hard to tell if they're gaining weight. After doing a quick body clipping a few days ago, I couldn't believe what I saw. Nothing changed in her diet other then adding in the w3 oil. I wish I had gotten a photo of what she looked like before ! She's been on the w3 oil since November 202...
