In 2019 my 14 year old mare started acting different. She's a well broke trail horse that became explosive, lethargic, sweating excessively, stiff muscles, tripping when going down hills, and had muscle tremors. I knew something had to be wrong. My 14 year old didn't suddenly become unbroke. It started my journey to go to many different vets to figure out what was wrong. It took over a year and a half for me to finally figure out she has PSSM 2. I talked to the nutritionist at Mad Barn.
