Distinctive Bay, known as Eddie in the barn, is a 2013 OTTB who only raced a total of 8 times before being retired due to being a ‘roarer’. Originally purchased to be a sales horse, Eddie quickly displayed all sorts of potential and talent. Eddie was given the winter of 2016 off and started up in the spring as a lanky 4 year old. He came with us when we went down to North Carolina for a few weeks in the spring and did miles and miles of hacking and even began jumping a few tiny cross rails. My Andalusian horse Arador did not like the Amino trace plus, and he would normally just sniff his hay cubes which had the supplement in them, (even if I only put a 1/4 scoop in with his food) and just turn away from his food and refuse to eat it, and he loves his food. With the 10 amino Trace samples I was given to try I was not expecting him to like any of them, and when I started him on sample 1 , I was surprised that he ate it especially with the full scoop per feeding.
