I truly can’t say enough good things about this product & Madbarn as a company. After seeing the recommendation of the nutritionist I pulled my guy completely off his grain. He is solely living on a forage based diet supported with Madbarn products recommended to me by their team. My guy is picky but loves these pellets and the quality of the product is so clear. I have recommended this product to three friends and seen difference in each horse for the better. Madbarn is truly amazing

I tried this for my gelding's fecal water syndrome. It maybe helped a little bit, but not enough for me to keep buying it. He did really enjoy eating it though! I will continue my search for a product that actually clears this messy issue up....

Started my overweight PSSM1 mare on this about 2.5 months ago. She's finally losing weight and still maintaining her energy levels. She seems like she is breathing better during exercise as well and doesn't take as long to catch her breath.

I’ve used this with okay results for a few years, but my mare is now unable to tolerate the whey in this feed. On this supplement, her gut is more susceptible to triggers and leaky gut syndrome. For a company that promotes itself as being species-appropriate and without fillers, this just doesn’t sit right. Whey is high up in the list of ingredients for Omneity. I would love to see reformulations of various powdered products for our horses who are prone to gut inflammation (remove whey, DDGs, rice hulls, etc.).

I’m incredibly disappointed in Visceral+ for the prevention of ulcers. My horse has been on Visceral for 8 months, and was scoped this week. He had grade 2 ulcers in the squamous region and grade 3 in the glandular region. I understand ulcer prevention goes beyond a supplement, such as proper turnout, access to forage, etc. . My horse shows so he does have a certain amount of stress he undergoes but every other horse in the barn with the same management techniques (and not on Visceral) had grade 1 ulcers or lower. Additionally upon further review of the clinical study by both myself and my vet we learned there was no control group for this study. That doesn’t seem like an accurate study if there was no control group to determine if horses recovered properly from ulcers without the Visce...

None of my 5 horses will even come close to trying this. It has a really strong smell. Will dye your hands and buckets/feed tubs (and clothes) green. What a mess - not a fan. Maybe if they made pellets that didn't smell??? This is a no for me, total waste of my money.

Very disappointed to find that MadBarn has added what would seem to be unneccessary ingredients to what was a relatively simple single supplement. My old 1kg bag contained only distillers grain and wheat midds in addition to the Biotin itself. A newer bag had added distiller's dried grains, dried yeast, dextrose (!), rice hulls, and calcium carbonate. What purpose an artificial sweetener in a product that previously tasted like.....grain, which horses tend to like? Rice hulls sure sound like filler to me. And not sure what benefit is attached to calcium carbonate. Needless to say, I returned the product and won't be buying it again.

First of all, I couldn't be more pleased with the service MadBarn offers of analyzing my horse's diet and having a nutritionist review it. I took advantage of being able to speak to the nutritionist and it was very helpful. I was pleased that she did not try to get me to buy a whole bunch of products. AminoTrace+ was her suggestion and my mare has now been on it for six months. One particular, and unusual result was that her eye stopped tearing. The mare's left eye had been tearing moderately for about 5 years. Her tear ducts were flushed twice by my vet, with no change. One summer I kept her on an antihistamine for 5 months with no real change. My vet thought that perhaps she just has a bit smaller duct for that eye. Well, I am amazed to say that the tearing stopped not long after sta...

My boy is a very picky eater but he loves the Omneity. I soak it with his alfalfa & teff pellets, and other supplements he needs for his heaves. I am starting to see improvement in his coat, and he's only been on it for a little over a month now. I also wanted to add that the customer service is outstanding! I highly recommend Mad Barn, and their top notch, highly researched products! Thanks for all you do!
