I'm really happy with this supplement so far and the customer service has been great! Our two Canadian Horses are prone to EMS and insulin resistance, so I was thrilled to find a Canadian company that made a supplement safe for them and that was aligned with the ECIR group guidance. This is the first time I've balanced minerals to my local hay, and AminoTrace works well with the bonus of including the extra protein and amino acids missing from this hay. The supplement fulfills their requirements for iodine, so I found a non-iodized livestock salt to replace the salt I was using before. I'm hopeful to see improvement to hoof health, but it hasn't been long enough yet (1 month). After reading some of the reviews, I was worried our horses wouldn't like the taste. We introduced it by hand...

My horse is a 26-year-old Quarter Horse, who has HYPP, inherited on his sire's side, and has now been diagnosed with Cushing's as well, and as such he is on a no grain, hay-only diet. I credit MadBarn supplements, particularly Omneity and the W3 oil, which he has been on for several years now, for his excellent condition today. His coat is shiny, and his feet are better than they have ever been. I love the ability to order in bulk online and have it delivered (very swiftly!) to my home. Madbarn is an all-round best choice for me and Chips!

I love how Mad Barn has worked for my miniature horses. Combined with a solid weight loss plan and the use of Amino Trace , my horses are now looking fit and feel great. It took awhile for them to get used to it, but they gobble it up very quickly now. The time from ordering to being shipped was quick.

I'm a skeptic. Especially when it comes to supplements for the horses. In my 40 years of owning, riding/driving and showing I've seen a lot of fads come and go, including many that didn't work. In late summer (August) we noticed that the boys had inflamed guttural pouches, were coughing and had thick, white mucus in their nostrils after work. Our vet prescribed a course of anti-histamines and things improved, but as soon as we'd back off the antihistamine, the symptoms would reappear. There had to be a better way to treat than continuing to treat with antihistamines for weeks on end - but what? We follow Dr. Kellon's work so I was surprised when I saw the studies about supplementing with Spirulina - OK, so we've got some science to back this up. We've been off the antihistamines for 6 we...

I love this company and their products. My horses have been 0n their products for at least a year I have a 2 year old and a 3year old and just the other day added a 6 month old filly,She was started on there products that day. with my 2 older ones I always get asked what Im doing with feed etc. They get the best hay and oats and Mad Barn products.I am constantly getting complements on how big they are for their age and how well built they are with muscles at their young age.I tell them what Im doing and encourage them to give these products a try.I have even had complements from breeders and vets and even farriers what great shape my horses are in,

EXCELLENT product. I have a 17 year old tb that’s always been a hard keeper and this made him bulk up in all the right ways. He loves how it tastes too!!! This stuff is liquid gold for sure. The packaging is terrible though. Definitely save a jug to put it into!!

Excellent product! My horses all eat it with no issues and it helps keep weight on the hard keepers. Everyone's coats are so shiny and healthy. I find this oil better than the competitors and they are twice the price of madbarn. 10/10 recommend. One complaint is the new packaging, I miss the gallon containers that I could put the pump on. I saved an old one and just refill it now. Remember to shake it every day!!

I started feeding Mad Barn vitamin E and W-3 Oil for my 17 year old stallion last year and it made a real different in Breeding season. This last year I bought a foal over the internet with great breeding for working cow horse was super excited to go out to Alberta and pick him up at 6 months old only to get there and see he was in horrible shape. We put him in the trailer and headed home to BC. The foal was so weak he curled up in the deep sawdust in the trailer and sleep the 8 hours home. I called my vet right away and he came out and did bloodwork. His Blood-work came back that he was anemic, he was also infested with worms. We started him on VitB 12 shots, safeguard wormer 5 days in a row and added W-3 Oil and Vit E from Mad Barn to his grain and here he is in the pictures the day I go...

Recently my daughter was given a 10 yr old Appaloosa, she has hind gut ulcers, I am going to say “almost” colicked 2x within a week. Did some research, bugged Scott and the MadBarn team a lot and decided on ODH. Now Miss Autumn would not touch her beet pulp/alfalfa cubes with the 5 or 6 pellets I put in her feed., This horse is the pickiest eater ever,, we tried apple sauce, molasses, everything we ended up syringing the pellets after soaking them for 3 minutes in hot water for 2 days. The next day she gobbled them up in there feed and the change is absolutely 100% amazing, This is a completely different horse, I have videos and pictures to prove this change in Autumn.

Found this product very helpful for my Cushings gelding in conjunction with pergolide. As an aside I tried it on a retired mare we have here that suffers from Hyoercementosis & has lost several of her incisors. She seemed really interested in the geldings feed, so I tried her with one scoop per day. Within a couple of weeks I saw a marked improvement in her gums & she hasn’t had any more trouble with her incisors. She is now able to eat from a slow-feeder haynet without difficulty, previously her incisors would cause her discomfort. She has been on chasteberry for 8 months with no further trouble with her teeth. This is a huge relief as the vet’s prognosis was that she would need all of her incisors removed, which was not something the owner or myself were comfortable with. Not sur...
