I love this product. I feed it to both of my horses and has really helped my gelding with allergies. My only issue is the packaging. I would give it 5 stars, but the packaging choice for this is horrible. It comes in a ziplock bag. Which normally would be a great choice, but not for Spirulina that sticks to everything. The scoop is always in the bottom, so you have to go fishing for it and the bag and scoop are caked in spirulina. So your hand always gets covered in it. I tried putting it in my own plastic container, which is a much better option for this type of supplement. You lose a lot of spirulina doing that because it sticks to the bag, bottom of the bag and in the corners. Its frustrating. Consider switching to a plastic container for this product.

Can't get horses to eat it. Right now I'm sprinkling ~1\4 tsp onto their grain and they're still sitting through and not cleaning up all their beet pulp

I have been using Mad Barn’s spirulina for some time in my horse’s diet. It helps his immune system, making him less reactive to insect bites, and adds more amino acids to his forage based diet. Additionally, MB’s Spirulina price point works well for my feeding budget.
