I love that Mad Barn offers hay analysis- the process was so simple and quick. Also appreciate the option of the wet chem analysis. And, the guidance interpreting all the details was really helpful and very educational.

I started giving my horse MadBarn Milk Thistle at the beginning of this spring after he foundered late summer the year before. No recurring laminitic episode since, and while I’m not sure how much of that is due to the milk thistle, what has been noticeable is a bog reduction in seasonal allergies. For the first time in 4 years he did not lose hair on his face & stomach this summer, and less prolonged coughing which he’s struggled with during peak pollen times in spring/fall. I feel like the milk thistle is a cost effective piece of his maintenance puzzle.

Once I started doing 50 milers (80km) endurance rides with Echo, it was a struggle to keep weight on him. I had MadBarn analyze his diet for weight maintenance, end of competition stamina and preventing scratches through nutrition. Even though I was feeding him fats, flax and such, it was the W3 oil that became a game changer. Not only does he keep weight on following competitions, his hooves and coat are healthier, and he has since completed a three day 75 mile, one day 75 and two day 100 mile (placing top ten in all). And he received his first two High Vet Scores along with a few Best Conditions. I attribute that to the generous support Madbarn provided in diet analysis and adding W3 oil. (Note: I’ll email a before and after photo. Feel free to post, photo credit Wendy Webb)

I am new to Mad Barn. My mare wasn't doing well on supplements she was on so I did a lot of research which led me to this company. I thought I would see if the change would help to change things around as she was unwell and several vet visits later left me with more questions. She has been on the B Vitamin Pak and the Trace Minerals as well as Vitamin E and it worked! These supplements helped her recover. I feel like the change in supplements was a big part of her overall recovery. So thank you to Mad Barn.

Since their labeling change they also removed ingredients off the nutritional value table: It’s missing Crude protein Lysine Methionine Threonine Calcium Yeast bacteria With not knowing how much key essential ingredients I am providing my horse, I am forced to switch brands. Unfortunately this is a red flag 🚩 for consumers. It happens all the time. A key ingredient that may be costly is naked off the nutrition panel so they can reduce the amount greatly to save money as a company. To make matters worse, you’re not getting what they’re advertising. Returning the product, it wouldn’t have been nice to know they changed product quality.

My mare suffers from fecal water syndrome. Since combining optimum and omneity in her alfalfa pellets, I have enjoyed not having to wash her hind legs and tail. She has had a dry bum after about 2 or 3 days after starting her on these supplements.

This is a brilliant product! We have a hoary alyssum problem in our valley and my gelding started to react to it. He was lethargic and his legs were very swollen. It only took a few days of the milk thistle for the swelling to go down and reverse the liver damage. Our pasture has been cleaned and our gelding is healthy. Thank you!
