Our 12-year-old mare started coughing a few years ago and we weren't sure why. We wondered if it was the moldy hay the barn owner was feeding her but, at any rate, we started her on vet meds which were quite expensive and did not seem to be helping. We wanted to try a more natural supplement and came across spirulina. Actually, we found Mad Barn at Can Am in Markham a few years ago, and were giving another horse one of the supplements. Anyway, we are on our 3rd bag of spirulina and I have only heard our mare cough once or twice in about 3 months. This is amazing! We will continue to supplement with spirulina and suggest anyone with a horse suffering a cough give it a try. Thanks for a great product!

The product works well and easily with my feed program. The 22 year old horse has lost his "hay belly" and the 31 year old looks much younger than his age. I also like the hoof growth the horses are exhibiting - it's excellent, considering our conditions north of 60' latitude.
