I tried this product for a 30 day trial on my 21 year old gelding for part of his treatment plan for fecal water syndrome, which is a new development for him. He did not eat it very readily and not as well as another supplement from another company. However, that product was much more expensive. What I really appreciated was the follow-up and support provided by MadBarn. I use another of their supplements, the Milk Thistle, for my 23 year old gelding, which has helped him normalize his liver enzymes. I like this company very much.

I got Visceral. Just got it yesterday. Got his first scoop today. Praying it will help his fecal water syndrome.

The supplement did not improve my geriatric horses soft manure as hoped. He’s going to have his 30th birthday in 3 days, so it’s no fault of the supplement and more a factor of a 30 yr-old digestive tract. We will try adding psyllium as suggested by your nutritionist and hope for the best. I greatly appreciate the advice and support!

My horse has had what I think may be fecal water syndrome off and on for the last 6 months. He eats grass/alfalfa hay, however he is turned out to forage 5/7 days as well and gets some low carb feed w a vitamin mineral mix. I’ve now added the Optimum Digestive Health pellets for the last Mo th and I think it’s finally starting to make a difference. No squirty poops for a week now. Hope this does the trick!

Optimun Digestive Health has helped my boy, but he still has liquid before and after defecating.
