It works, is accurate, and I know as an RN that having nail polish on my fingernails can alter the accuracy. I have no problems with my lungs, but it registers 98-99 with nail polish on my nails!

I worked as a paramedic and emergency Registered Nurse for thirty years until I became disabled. I can still remember when pulse oximetry started being used. It is amazing that a pulse oximeter of this quality can be purchased for this price. Through the years I have used multiple brands of these devices and the quality of the Oxiline Pro Series 500DL is as good as any I ever used in the ambulance...

I've been pleased with the device. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in is that the phone must be unlocked and the app open for the app to record the data from the device. It's not a big deal but I was hoping to use it at night to see if I may have sleep apnea.
