I suffer from COPD w/underlying chronic Emphysema. Keeping abreast of my blood/oxygen level is a must - especially if you must wear a mask! Depending on your activity during the day, there are times you feel shortness of breath. Put this on your finger, and in less than a minute, you have your oxygen/pulse ratio. You want to see a oxygen level reading of 90 or above. If you see a reading of 89...

I just received this device and so far it seems to work properly. The quality is good. A lanyard strap and rubber protective cover are included. The manual is fair. It covers the basic features of the device but it does not give an indication of what a good reading should be. There are severeal good videos on YouTube on how to use a pulse oximeter.
