I, like others, tried using rechargeable batteries first but the device didn't work. When I switched to regular batteries, it worked fine. The quality seems okay. My temperature readings were slightly off each time, but it still served its purpose of letting me know if I have a fever.

We just got this meter yesterday and it will only be used when we're away from home, like for doctor's appointments. We already have another one that we've been using for about a year and it works great. We've tested this new one a few times and it works too. I'd definitely recommend it.
