I bought this thermometer to use on foreheads. When my son brought his babies over, I used it to check the temperature of their bottles. I saw a symbol on it that looked like a bottle. My son took it with him, so I had to buy another one. They work well and are accurate. I have to press the trigger twice - the first time to turn it on, and the second time to get the reading.
