I just wanted to say thank you for a brilliant Photoshop workshop, really informative and I learnt absolutely masses of things that I had no idea about or how to attempt. The evening just flew by and was really good fun.

Would we, wouldn't we see a barn owl? We didn't but that didn't dampen the anticipation! It was a beautiful evening and along with the little owls, we did see curlews and lapwing plus a superb 'moonrise'. It was good to learn something about where to look out for different owls and how to position ourselves so as not to disturb their hunting. Better luck with the barn owls another time!

I’ve often thought about attending a photography course but held back. After a few searches, I decided to go ahead and book the Get a Grip Photography Course. Rich is very knowledgable, enthusiastic & completely put me at ease. I now have the confidence to find out what my camera can do & not just rely on ‘Auto’. I’m looking forward to taking more photos following Rich’s advice. Don’t hold back, ...

Highly recommended. Rich was brilliant in my 1-2-1 today. He is so approachable and provides a kind, safe learning space in his studio. Rich helped me move Lightroom and photoshop across to a new laptop and set up an improved workflow for my images. I came away with far more information and help than I ever expected. Just spent 2+ hours with Rich during which we managed to sort out issues with Camera (Settings), Computer (Lightroom), and Printer all successfully achieved. By the time I returned home I had received an email explaining the action that had been taken to resolve these problems. Thank You.

My first venture into Manchester for night photography and it was an excellent evening. The Castlefield location was absolutely spot on with plenty of time to take some really nice photographs. Excellent coaching from Rich and some good photographic instruction all culminated in a session I would highly recommend.

What a fantastic day. The weather was kind, considering the torrential rain the previous week, and the sun made a guest appearance on a few occasions. Photo opportunities in every direction. Rich gave great advice on potential compositions and consideration of camera settings, all in a friendly and supportive way. If you have the chance next year I would thoroughly recommend you go.
