What a fantastic day. The weather was kind, considering the torrential rain the previous week, and the sun made a guest appearance on a few occasions. Photo opportunities in every direction. Rich gave great advice on potential compositions and consideration of camera settings, all in a friendly and supportive way. If you have the chance next year I would thoroughly recommend you go.

Great course by Rich. Simply and clearly explained with great tips on use of my camera. Came away with a lot more confidence and looking forward to joining in some of the 2 hr group sessions. Definitely recommend Rich to get you started on your camera ( and beyond!)

I have been to both the Manchester and York Night Photography Walks. These walks are great because you feel safe walking round the city at night with a group. Richard knew all the best places to photograph and he was very helpful and informative. I would highly recommended these Walking Tours.

Had a good day on this course very informative I learned alot about my camera using settings and getting the right setting for the conditions I can now use custom settings as I do wildlife photography etc Rich explained things very well and practical as I learn better outside rather than reading a book .

As a newbie to photography, this was just what I needed. Clear, basic introduction to photography and the knobs and whistles of modern cameras. Small group with lots of one to one help and instruction, practical applications with real life practice. Just what I required and at some time I will sign up for the advanced session to extend my knowledge.

Very enjoyable, informative and relaxed. I learnt a lot from the evening. Good to see that I was doing somethings well, but a few personalised hints, tips and personal coaching really pushed my technique forward. Thanks Rich

I joined the Bempton Full Day Photo Walk on the 5th July 2021. Rich’s advance advice on what to expect and what to bring for the walk was very useful. I was fully geared and prepared for the unpredictable weather on that day. Despite the ever changing weather condition we still managed to capture some wonderful photos. Rich is a pleasure to deal with, from the first contact you know it is going to be a great experience. My daughter and I wanted to learn the basics whilst on holiday in the area and hopefully catch a sunset which we did in a great location. I have been photographing wildlife for over 10 years but recently I found that I was not getting the results I expected, very disappointing when you think you have some great shots on the memory card! I knew of Rich through a mutual friend and contacted him regarding a lesson, we decided a two hour session at Yeadon Tarn would be our best bet. Some birds in numbers are pretty much guaranteed there...
