It's just a great moorland course, not a tree in sight. Risk & Reward holes, driveable pars 4s (depending on the wind...) it has the lot. The par 3 2nd is iconic. BUT not for the fainthearted, hilly, my partner said 15 holes uphill and 3 down, not really but it feels like it, at least the par 5 18th is all downhill. The old 8th is now out of commission & the replacement in play. Time will tell how well this hole fits in.
