Really enjoyed my round, first few holes ease you into the round with the first four holes all under 400yrds in length, you don’t need to hit a driver, then it’s starts to show it’s uniqueness, the heather was thick and tough to get out of. The 249yrd par 3 is all down hill and not as challenging as it looks on the card, the course reward accuracy off the tee, it’s not always straight forward gett...

It's just a great moorland course, not a tree in sight. Risk & Reward holes, driveable pars 4s (depending on the wind...) it has the lot. The par 3 2nd is iconic. BUT not for the fainthearted, hilly, my partner said 15 holes uphill and 3 down, not really but it feels like it, at least the par 5 18th is all downhill. I've played opens at this course every year for the past 8, mostly for £10,...

Lovely course and homely clubhouse. Played on Saturday in beautiful weather pity the golf wasn’t up to the same standard! We will be back again

The course was fantastic, it was in great condition and the greens are impeccable. Not over challenging but still challenging enough and the layout is great. The staff were fantastic and really helpful and friendly, the club house is fine, a bit dated but fine but the views from the verandah were exceptional.

This golf course like many others in the area is vastly overpriced, and clubhouse and staff bordering on pure snobbery. The club now seems to cater mainly for well off visitors. IF YOU ARE NOT ACTUALY PLAYING THE COURSE THERE IS NO CATERING OR SERVICE. MEMBERS AND PLAYING VISITORS ONLY.

The old 8th is now out of commission & the replacement in play. Time will tell how well this hole fits in. The new angle this necessitates and elevation it provides on the 9th tee makes this a more interesting hole, and the required shot into this green that Tom Doak detailed in his book “Anatomy of a Golf Course” is actually more relevant for me as long par 4 as a higher handicapper than it was...

Without doubt one of the best courses in Ireland I have golfed all over the world over many years and have played Tralee a number of times and loved it every time. It is set on perfect land with the back nine in some of the most spectacular dune land and Close to Water vistas you could hope for. Don’t miss it A friend of mine had a hole in one on his birthday on the pat three called shipwreck. Ce...

My second visit after the first some years ago I was keen to return, and again had a thoroughly adventurous and enjoyable game. The course is not too penal but makes demands on your game especially around the greens. This region has some really great courses and the people are extremely friendly even to Australians. Brora is a must play in your lifetime of golf.

First impressions were of a rough and ready local course They are working at improvements on a number of holes and I can imagine in a year or so this course will step up to a level where those who love links golf will be rushing to play Our caddies were local members who made our day only the better and I can safely say if you are in the area don’t miss playing this course
