Just like links golf but on top of the moors! Far reaching views to die for, fairways and greens as good as anywhere and I've played West Lancs, Penrith, Hexham and Cleveland this year to name a few and they're as good as any of those!! One or two delightfully quirky holes but all in all a proper test of golf. If you haven't tried it, you should!!

Course is not the greatest I have ever played but the scenery and the ambience of the people made up for any shortcomings on the course. Played in senior open a couple of years ago and found the semi-rough between fairways covered in daisies and buttercups which made in nearly impossible to find a stray tee shot but will definitely be back.

A must play if in Dorset Played in their Senior Open in early August 2021 and we were blessed with light winds and 23° temp. Very undulating track with some stunning golf holes. The 5th will live long in the memory with spectacular views across The Solent with The Needles clearly in view. Fairways were patchy as sadly they have had leatherjackets visiting. Really enjoyed my round, first few holes ease you into the round with the first four holes all under 400yrds in length, you don’t need to hit a driver, then it’s starts to show it’s uniqueness, the heather was thick and tough to get out of. The 249yrd par 3 is all down hill and not as challenging as it looks on the card, the course reward accuracy off the tee, it’s not always straight forward gett...

Played the course in the past few weeks and although it is a tough walk, it's has some great holes. Make sure you are driving thr ball well or you'll struggle. Practice facilities before you tee off are top class and no excuse not to be warmed up before you tee off!

A very pleasant surprise Course had a lot of variation and kept you thinking . A caddy for your first visit is worthwhile Staff were very friendly and helpful All in all my group from Australia had a terrific day

A huge surprise! Staying at Dornoch we decided to play all the local courses as well as the top shelf rated ones and they just kept delighting our group At Golspie you had to be on your game especially on at least half the holes to avoid bad scoring The outlook from the clubhouse was sublime and a great day was had in mostly sun with plenty of wind.

First impressions were of a rough and ready local course They are working at improvements on a number of holes and I can imagine in a year or so this course will step up to a level where those who love links golf will be rushing to play Our caddies were local members who made our day only the better and I can safely say if you are in the area don’t miss playing this course

My second visit after the first some years ago I was keen to return, and again had a thoroughly adventurous and enjoyable game. The course is not too penal but makes demands on your game especially around the greens. This region has some really great courses and the people are extremely friendly even to Australians. Brora is a must play in your lifetime of golf.

Without doubt one of the best courses in Ireland I have golfed all over the world over many years and have played Tralee a number of times and loved it every time.
