Best views of any course I’ve ever played. Back nine got a bit messy with loads of blind and short holes but that’s part of link. Staff were amazing.

Played Mach Dunes in late September 2020. The Starter was very helpful in explaining the layout of the course, but even so we did have trouble playing the 17th. This was probably one of the hardest links courses I have played - some blind shots, undulating fairways and greens plus huge dunes. Quite a long walk but a real challenging golfing experience.

I had the pleasure of playing and staying at The Machrie in late September 2020. A superb course in excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear. It is a very fair course with generous wide fairways, but there are plenty of obstacles to catch a wayward shot. Large undulating and fast greens complete what is a great golfing experience.

A great test of links golf always found to be well presented, greens at a good pace. Nice clubhouse, friendly staff and well stocked Pro Shop. Dormy House reputed to be good although I have not stayed. Personally I rate this to be one of the top three courses in Wales. Aberdyfi is a great place to stay with lots to do other than the golf. Highly recommended.

Excellent! What an absolute gem of a golf course. Not overly long, but very cleverly designed with great greens, small strategically placed bunkers and brilliant views of Derbyshire. The first three holes are a little bit backwards and forwards, but from the fourth onwards, an elevated par 3, it starts to show its subtle class. Fantastic course played twice and I am going back in July 2020. Would recommend this course the everybody. Lots of different holes to suit all handicaps. Greens bring the best out of you.
