My pony that has been on meds for her thyroid issues for years with ups and down. She is now off her meds and her blood work shows normal levels.. I love that it’s all natural and it is way cheaper then the meds she was on before. Thank you

My beloved quarter horse Cherry was exhibiting the worst Cushing symptoms I have ever seen and laminitis was stealing her quality of life. We are blessed with an incredible farrier who collaborated with our vet to buy me enough time to pull out all of the stops. Relying on the farrier/vet tx, ECIR resources and the science of Mad Barn we saw her life saved!! It is not hyperbole--this horse had a dismal prognosis and now I have my wonderful girl back. SHE DID NOT LIKE THE PELLETS AT ALL, but after hand feeding them to her, sprinkling them on her soaked hay and doing anything and everything to get them into her, she consumes them twice daily with no issue. If I could I would give Mad Barn all of the stars....all of them!

I'm really happy with this supplement so far and the customer service has been great! Our two Canadian Horses are prone to EMS and insulin resistance, so I was thrilled to find a Canadian company that made a supplement safe for them and that was aligned with the ECIR group guidance. This is the first time I've balanced minerals to my local hay, and AminoTrace works well with the bonus of including the extra protein and amino acids missing from this hay. The supplement fulfills their requirements for iodine, so I found a non-iodized livestock salt to replace the salt I was using before. I'm hopeful to see improvement to hoof health, but it hasn't been long enough yet (1 month). After reading some of the reviews, I was worried our horses wouldn't like the taste. We introduced it by hand...

Sully is a 3 yr old Appaloosa Gelding that I brought up from Texas in the summer of his weanling year. When he arrived he had a thick course terrible coat that really concerned me. No amount of grooming or good diet of “commercial” junior feed was helping. Then we noticed he was going bald and started scratching on anything and everything. We did blood test, skin scraping, skin biopsy and all was fine. We finally narrowed it down to a soy allergy and my vet wanted him off any commercial feed right away. We switched him over to oats and within a couple days he stopped itching. With Sully being a baby I knew he needed more nutritional support than what just hay and oats would give so that’s when the hunt for a soy free Vit/mineral began. If I could give more stars on this review, I would! Such an informative and friendly phone call! I really enjoyed learning more about equine nutrition from Sophie. She was so helpful and kind in answering all my questions and making recommendations for what products to keep and which ones were better to replace. She even emailed me after our call with links for the items she recommended! And the fact that this service is provided free of charge and with no strings attached speaks volumes for the company's integrity in my opinion. I appreciate this service, and I'm sure my horse does too!

After trying two different antihistamines for my pony’s skin allergies I talked to one of Mad Barn’s nutrition experts and they recommend I start him on Spirulina and w-3 oil. The difference between these photos is 2 months. The antihistamines I got from the vet made my pony jumpy and irritable and didn’t stop him from itching the hair off of his face. I started noticing a difference after starting him on Spirulina within one month. His skin is completely back to normal, he itches less, and is his normal self again. 10/10 recommend!

Picked up a rescue mare from an auction three weeks ago. She hadn’t been groomed in what looked like years, had terrible dandruff and itchiness. After a vet check we grabbed MadBarn W-3 and have been using it every day. Along with frequent grooming our girl looks incredible. She loves the taste and gets very excited whenever she sees it coming. We just found out she may be pregnant so I love the extra vitamin E supply!

Finally convinced my mare to eat this product as she wasn't too willing to eat it at first. She has been on it for approximately a year now and it helped her heal her back hooves that had re-occurring abscesses in them last summer. Her feet were in such bad shape I was worried she wouldn't be sound again but this supplement contains the correct nutrients to help her grow out healthier hooves. She hasn't had an abscess since last year and is sound again!
