One of my horses foundered in February of 2024 with seemingly no reason. After the initial episode, I found this product and being a loyal madbarn customer decided to give it a shot in hopes that it would help him in his recovery. Within a week and a half of being on this product he was moving almost 100% sound on no pain medication. I am absolutely amazed how well this herb helped my horse and have since added it to the diet of others in my herd. So grateful for mad barn.

After starting my horse on 3:1 Copper and Zinc, I was skeptical if I could really help my horse. He got really sun bleached and was looking terrible. After almost 6 weeks on 3:1 Copper and Zinc he's looking like a new horse and for the first time ever he's getting dapples!!

I have been feeding Amino Trace for some time now. My nineteen year old Canadian mare looks fantastic. Her feet are in excellent shape. I feed it twice a day mixed with a small amount of soaked alfalfa cube, and a probiotic. Palatability has never been a problem. I started off with a very small amount mixed with a bit of the ration balancer she was accustomed to, and gradually increased the Amino Trace until I was feeding the recommended amount and dropped the ration balancer . My small donkey was another story. He is a much more selective eater, so I resorted to moistening it with a very small quantity of FlaxAppeal and a little bit of chopped carrot....and bingo, that did the trick! When our 20 year old Arabian developed fecal water syndrome last fall we tried everything to help. Probiotics and beet pulp helped about 50%, but we couldn't clear it up completely. Then (thankfully!) we tried Visceral. Within 3 weeks the fecal water was almost completely gone! After 2 months there was virtually no sign of the ailment! Except for a little "new grass looseness" in the spring our horse is back to his old self--totally recommend this to those trying to find a solution for fecal water syndrome! I will say we did not have the horse scoped for [redacted], but he did have rectal exams and a full blood workup, which found no issues. This works and fast. My 21 yo Morab endurance mare gets runny poos every winter. Then my 8 yo arab gelding got it this year too. So I needed something to get their digestive system back on track. Ordered the Optimum Digestive and it was here in two days. Added it to their daily supplements and saw immediate improvements for both horses in the same week.

Started using this after using the Equitop Myoplast (sugar coated spirulina), great source of protein and a lot cheaper than the myoplast. My horse has developed so much topline since starting on all the Spirulina supps. Only downside is that it's a little messy. But that is a small price to pay. Thank you to MadBarn for creating awesome and affordable products!

We’ve been dealing with quite a few issues with one of our ponies. He’s not keeping weight on, has foundered in care of previous owner and has been dealing with sore feet ever since. In the summer I decided to make some dietary changes aside from what we were already trying. I’ve put him on golden past and chasteberry as part of his daily feed. Be appears to be doing so much better. He’s more active, brighter and overall walking so much better!!! He’s actually a little sassy now 😂. I this supplement is helping!!

I'm really happy with this supplement so far and the customer service has been great! Our two Canadian Horses are prone to EMS and insulin resistance, so I was thrilled to find a Canadian company that made a supplement safe for them and that was aligned with the ECIR group guidance. This is the first time I've balanced minerals to my local hay, and AminoTrace works well with the bonus of including the extra protein and amino acids missing from this hay. The supplement fulfills their requirements for iodine, so I found a non-iodized livestock salt to replace the salt I was using before. I'm hopeful to see improvement to hoof health, but it hasn't been long enough yet (1 month). After reading some of the reviews, I was worried our horses wouldn't like the taste. We introduced it by hand...

If I could give more stars on this review, I would! Such an informative and friendly phone call! I really enjoyed learning more about equine nutrition from Sophie. She was so helpful and kind in answering all my questions and making recommendations for what products to keep and which ones were better to replace. She even emailed me after our call with links for the items she recommended! And the fact that this service is provided free of charge and with no strings attached speaks volumes for the company's integrity in my opinion.
