I bought this device about a year ago. However, only recently I have been using it more frequently. I liked the size, portability, display and multi-user function. It also comes with an AC adapter. But the thing that has been bugging me since the beginning is the way it produces the reading. I mean after setting it up when I press start, the cuff begins to inflate and the pressure values are shown...

This unit must have the cuff tight at the start of the test.I tried it a few times at first and got low readings until I consistently got the cuff tight.Reducing by one star because other units have not been as sensitive to the cuff tightness.

I love that I don’t have to “be a nurse” to use this. I know how to use the regular blood pressure cuffs but sometimes it’s pretty hard to get accurate results if you don’t do it every day. This one took a few days to figure out where it needs to ride to get accurate results but one I did it is just as accurate as what you get at the doctors office. I use this for readings on 2 to 3 days of every week. One real concern is haw many sets of batteries this unit will require over a 12 month period. It requires an unusual size and type of battery. One that is quite expensive. If these unit eats up a number of batteries in with normal usage I won't be happy. So far at the 3 or 4 month mark the original batteries still work fine. We've been using this for a couple months and seems to give stable readings. Definitely read the manual to learn how to use the memory, but I like the two user options. I do wish it gave you an average reading of the three you take, but I have to do that manual after we've taken the BP three times.

After inserting your finger, it takes about 40 seconds for the instrument to read. I don???t know if it???s accurate, since I haven???t been to the doctor to check it out, but I will.

more of an electronic toy for psychological sense of security, but not a serious medical device...feels loose on finger and heart rate jumps from 74 to 95...blood oxy level??? if you are under 85% you would have felt hard catch breathing and in an hospital already...the accuracy is more in the ball park...common sense prevails.

I am a home health nurse and wanted an automatic cuff. When I received this product, I experimented on all of my family members. I have six kids, so I had a few test subjects. I learned that as long as you really stay still and DON'T TALK during the process, this is very accurate. I did try to turn off the voice by following the instructions in the manual and the machine wouldn't cooperate, so...
