Worked for 5 months, then died. After contacting Katy at Customer Service and ascertaining that it was a dead unit, got another one within a couple of days. Hoped it would have lasted longer, hope that it was the odd unit problem and that the next one will last longer, but at least they make good on their warranty

Only gave 4 stars because I have a bit of trouble getting a reading. I have to use my thumb .Don???t know if it???s the item or if my circulation is really, really bad. Don???t have trouble getting readings when home health comes weekly on their reader.

My readings initially varied as much as 5 to 6% in one sitting, but I have learned that it's a little fussy about getting your finger positioned just right: the finger needs to be all the way in, centered laterally, and not resting on a surface because that can lift the sensor slightly off the finger. I bought one. It was defective. They sent me another. It works and tracks my doctors reading perfectly.I did find you have to line up the cuff correctly and elevate your arm even with your heart for accurate readings. If you do that it is no problem.
