I wanted something easy to read and accurate that didn't pinch. The display is in red, push one button, wait a few seconds and SP02 and pulse in nice size letters. It has a silicone boot you can put on it so it doesn't get wet. I haven't changed the battery yet. It would be nice if it had a USB charging port but its not necessary. Great little gadget and works really well. Would definitely recomme...

I don???t know anything abt medical equipment. It can be hard to figure out, but this oximeter is fantastic!! Once I figured out which way the batteries went in - my problem - I used it right away! It is compact, well made, nice plastic cover you can stick it in if you want and let it hang by a lanyard.It is simple for me to use and very clear to read with big numbers, not tiny. I suffer from COPD w/underlying chronic Emphysema. Keeping abreast of my blood/oxygen level is a must - especially if you must wear a mask! Depending on your activity during the day, there are times you feel shortness of breath. Put this on your finger, and in less than a minute, you have your oxygen/pulse ratio. You want to see a oxygen level reading of 90 or above. If you see a reading of 89...
